Bosigran Castle, Pendeen, Cornwall, UK
View from the headland known as Bosigran Castle towards Pendeen Watch.
After struggling up the steep path on to Bosigran Castle, a well-deserved breather and a look at the scenery!
The coastal view to Morvah (left) and the view back inland towards Carn Galver engine houses (right).
Retracing the steps taken earlier, before heading off downhill into the valley to examine a tin mill.
The mill site shows clearly the locations of a waterwheel, set of stamps and both circular and linear buddles, along with a leat system.
Two members look back at their route, with the tin mill in the foreground and the Bosigran cliffs tthat are so popular with climbers in the distance.
Carn Galver mine against the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean.
The leader for the day took advantage of the No.300 bus service!
